Karingal Hub Redevelopment

Construction commences on reimagined Karingal Hub

As construction commences on the revitalised centre, we are excited to share the details of our $160 million expansion that will transform Karingal Hub into a leading shopping destination on the Mornington Peninsula.

A vibrant new Town Square, market-style fresh food precinct, more free parking and the addition of new retailers and mini majors are just some of the exciting changes coming to Karingal Hub!

At the heart of our new vision is a new Town Square that will link a refreshed and expanded retail mix in the existing mall to the already popular Village Cinema. Perfect for families, this vibrant new area will feature a fun playground and programmable community spaces to nurture and promote a sense of connection and vitality.

It will also be a great place to meet, with new cafes and restaurants to feature in this central area, providing alfresco dining experiences that spill out onto the town square, giving locals a friendly day-to-night place to socialise.

As part of our redevelopment, Karingal Hub’s existing centre will be refurbished and expanded, with spaces realigned to improve access, shopping zoned for convenience and a new market inspired fresh food precinct added.

Aldi and Coles supermarkets will open alongside a refurbished Woolworths, joining the existing Big W and Village Cinemas. More exciting retailers will be announced over the coming months.

And for those who love our free parking, we’ll be adding an extra 550 free car parks, taking the number of car spaces at the centre to 2,650, with 40 per cent undercover!

Work has already started and will be completed in stages over 18 months, allowing the centre to continue to trade throughout the works. We look forward to keeping you updated on this exciting project!
